Lacca povera desk

This antique desk has been expertly restored and embellished with “lacca povera” by the Cambi family workshop of Florence. The Cambi family has been restoring and handcrafting furniture for 3 generations. “Lacca povera” (poor man’s lacquer) is a rare form of furniture decoration that came into use in Venice in the 1750’s.
